Rick Hoffman Regional Senior Vice President, East End

Regional Senior Vice President Rick Hoffman lends his seasoned real estate, business and legal expertise to overseeing and unifying The Corcoran Group’s network of prominent East End offices. Rick is not only responsible for enhancing sales performance and managing operations throughout the market, but for also bridging agent relationships and generating referrals between the East End and Manhattan in an in-house liaison capability.

Prior to joining Corcoran, Rick served in a similar capacity as Vice President and Hamptons Regional Director of Operations for Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate where he led the region’s management team and agents with regard to policy, procedures and sales. Under his leadership, the region increased market share plus grew the business from six to 10 offices and from 190 to approximately 240 agents in 18 months.

To his latest position, Rick brings a wealth of financial and legal knowledge that for decades have directly applied to various aspects of real estate, as well as an extensive network base having lived and worked in both Southampton and New York City for 16 years. Prior to his transition to corporate management, Rick worked for a small legal firm then opened his own practice, located on Main Street in Southampton, which specialized in all aspects of real estate law. His transition was a welcome change to round out his interest in the real estate industry. It has also proven to be a valuable asset for the many agents with whom he works closely to build their business base.

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Rick studied Architecture and earned his BA in Economics at Tulane University in New Orleans. After graduating he worked in commercial construction lending for Maryland National Bank before pursuing his law degree. While at The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., real estate law was his concentration. Upon graduation in 1990, he moved to Southampton where he remains active in community fundraising and various club activities.
