Throughout his decade-long ascent to the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Corcoran Group, Scott Durkin garnered the well-earned reputation as a first-rate performer committed to the job at hand. Not surprisingly, Scott excelled in sales all through the early nineties - earning him the award for "Westside Deal of the Year" in 1995 for selling the legendary Alice Tully apartment. In early roles as Co-Managing Director of the Downtown office (in collaboration with Pam Liebman, now Corcoran's CEO), Founding Director of Corcoran's Retail Gallery, and Director of Relocation Services, Scott enjoyed his professional odyssey over the last 10 years at Corcoran. Thanks to consistent excellence in leadership roles, in 1997 Barbara Corcoran picked Scott from the ranks and positioned him at her side in the Corporate Office. Respected in every sector of the New York real estate industry, Scott has served as an acknowledged expert in the field, for such news outlets as CNN, CNBC, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others. It is said that Scott's early accomplishments and meteoric rise to the top could be ascribed in part to his eight-year managerial post with the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts chain.
