As Director of Technology for the premier name in luxury residential real estate, Terence Thomas is responsible for overseeing the entire Information Systems department staff as well as the gamut of technology-related issues for The Corcoran Group and its entire network of offices throughout New York City, the Hamptons and Palm Beach.

With technology his passion and problem solving his forte, Terence enjoys the challenge of the demanding day-to-day decisions with which he is faced. These span from the firm’s intricate telecommunications systems to its highly-advanced network computer infrastructure, systems upgrades, joint venture integration, plus management of the prominent worldwide website, Corcoran.com.

Having worked in the technology arena at Corcoran since 2000, Terence views his role as an important one which not only helps the firm function and profit, but excel in its use of technology as a powerful marketing and business tool that leverages overall effectiveness and efficiency. Prior to joining Corcoran, he worked for two top-name New York City law firms, rising the ranks from applications specialist to manager of information systems most recently.

Originally from the island of Jamaica, Terence graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.S. degree in Computer Information Science. He resides on Long Island with his wife and two sons. Outside of the work he loves, Terence enjoys quality family time and coaching his boys’ soccer teams.
